K-On: Will definitely be watching this, but not so sure about blogging it.
Shinkyoku Polyphonica Crimson S: Technobardic magic! Yes!
Queen’s Blade: We’ll see whether it gets too horrible, but yes for the moment!
Guin Saga: Hrm. Not quite sure wha to make of this one, yes? I’m kinda worried the twins will prove too annoying to follow, though. >.>
Saki: Quirky characters and CG mahjong! Yes!
07 Ghost: Bishounen overload! Yes!
Eden of the East: The first ep blew me away. I especially enjoyed the creative ED and…uh…interestingly-English OP. ;) Yes! (I’ll probably blog on this when ep 2 comes out, though.)
And the stuff I’m not watching… Continue Reading »

I liked Saki when I picked up the manga end of last year, and was psyched to find out the anime was going to be shown this season. Continue Reading »

(Just kidding about the twincest. :P) Guin Saga doesn’t immediately start off with Guin aka Conan — instead, there’s a visible lack of music, building up to an ominous thrum as we see a wave of black horses at night rushing across the land. Continue Reading »

I was actually going to do Shangri-La today, but I’m STILL doing bits of my report…so you get a post I’d done up yesterday, against my better judgement.
I guess I shouldn’t have expected much from Gokujou!! Mecha Motte Iinchou, but I know I didn’t expect it to be quite this bad. It’s an awkward blend of 2D and 3D. While the last 3D anime I watched, Hoshi no Umi no Amuri, was stunning, this one was just…strange. The movements were awkward, and the transitions between 2D and 3D puzzling. Continue Reading »

Polyphonica starts off with an incomprehensible battle, and cuts to an unpopular kid with a heavenly voice in an orphanage (?) run by a nun. An armoured lady with long pink hair and long, incomprehensible name is drawn by his voice, and tells him she wants him. ._. (or ‘I want you to be my thing’ish? “Omae mo watashi dake no mono shitai.”) Continue Reading »

I starting watching Queen’s Blade expecting the worst, despite knowing from previous screenshots that the art was pretty darned competent. I should also note that it was hard to find a screenshot without boobies to put on the front page..SIGH. Continue Reading »
