Again, another interesting episode with a good twist. The Ethics Committee starts on a (human) love campaign, amidst hot debate about whether androids could/should be partners. Fittingly, this episode touches on the couple that’s always lovey dovey in a corner — Koji and Rina — and boy did I not guess the truth of the matter!
Anyone else notice it’s generally always the same regulars in the cafe? XD Slideshow and some spoilers if you click on more, or just visit the gallery to see comments/screenshots. Continue Reading »

Eve no Jikan is a fascinating anime revolving around the protagonist, Rikuo, gradually being aware of his family’s android (Sammy) having free will.
It raises the popular question of what we would do if androids were so like humans as to be indistinguishable from us — which is what happens in Eve no Jikan, a cafe where humans and androids coexist without discrimination. In the outside world, androids are expressionless and behave as their masters tell them to, working all the while with a digital halo that immediately gives away their status. People who treat androids like humans are given the derisive nickname Dori-kei (Short for Droid Group/Inclination).
