Blog apologising…also spam bustin’

When it comes to spam, I finally got tired of getting two or three a day…so I put the captcha thing on. If I still get spam, I’m gonna comprain. ._. Personally, I don’t much like captchas since I always feel like a bot when I can’t solve them (*-*”) but ah well. Read on for more ramblings RE what I’ve been doing..
I haven’t been posting for a while, and I’ve finally changed the tagline to read more accurately. XD I’ve been whiling my time on FW, MH, and GT, work (ugh), and Shelfari. Anyone using the last one too? I think the bookshelf option is helluva shiny. ^^ Though the JS widget doesn’t want to work here. -_-
In any case, on the title of this post…I’ve come across quite a few blogs apologising for not posting as regularly as they have — and I personally don’t get it. You guys already know I won’t be posting regularly until winter break begins (at least a month from now)…or well, if you don’t know, I’m saying it now.I think readers should be happy when they get content, and if they know the person and it’s strange for them not to post regularly, concerned — but there should be no need for bloggers to apologise. Ultimately, it’s your blog — blog on your time/whim! :) That said, I -do- apologise to blogs I should have been reading/commenting on (like Jay-san’s) but have lapsed on. I seem to spend an inordinate amount of time on that when I get the chance to, so am restricting myself on that front too. :( But if you comment, I’ll definitely get back to you (on your blog and here). :)
@Jay-san: I think you mentioned it in your shoutbox, though, heh. Yeah, it doesn’t really cross my mind either, though in my case it’s more like, ‘I don’t think anyone really cares..XD’ (And if whoever is reading this doesn’t, then you don’t need to care enough to comment you don’t care on this post. :P) Hmm I’m not so sure about the unworthy or weak bit — maybe it’s a guy thing. :) I do go, ‘O.o Why are they apologising..’ I mean, apologising doesn’t make either the apologiser or the apologisee feel happier. :( Quite the contrary, though.
Haha, yeah. I do like the way you do your posts — it’s like a broadcast, true. P.S. I’ll reply to your reply on your blog soon. XD
@soapgirl: Uh, sorry, with your links in your comment, I thought you were spam too. -coughs- Yeah…generally anything with a generic comment ‘Hey I liked your blog!’ starts to get eyeballed, and those with multiple links and gibberish are a goner upon sight. :P today.com used to think daily was a good thing, but I think regular is probably better. -nods- Heh, did you look at that picture (it’s just the first page of my ‘to read’ list) or at my shelf? Which authors? :)
@Hen: Not a loser at all! Like I said to Jay, it just makes me feel kinda ._. By the way, found a dodgy link for pages 4-5 on your 9th May blog.. Also, I thought manga novel was an epic manga. -wry- Appears not. Ah well.
@Jay-san: Aww, thanks, that’s nice of you. :) It’s 2.45am so I’m a bit too zonked to reply to your actual comment, but I don’t have one in that exact size, though I can make one up. (Evidence of how zonked I am — just realised my first sentence said ‘aww, thanks nice of you’ ._.) Could I link you in a comment (like you says in the About page) when I’m done? Thanksew. :)
