[*Whatever By The Books*]

I was expecting fanservice, but got something rather surprisingly-different…leading on from ep 12, Akiha and co land on Earth, now the equivalent of an apparently-deserted island.

Akiha and Imo are getting their bearings when Leopard (literally) crashes their party, creating some huge fissures and dropping them into a body of flowing water..

In the meantime, Honoka, Itsuki, and Ul have crashlanded together, and Itsuki is trying to strike up a fire. In the end, though, Honoka’s fire powers work better than the former’s manual methods. -wry- Akiha and co now join them, just when it starts raining — perfect reason to get the swimsuits out!

 The five of them visit a dome that used to be the Kirkwood-Earth embassy — incidentally, the place at which Itsuki had been born. Unfortunately, they get ambushed by a bunch of Earthling barbarians, one of whom grabs Imo and asks if she’s a Navi person. Leopard jokes that she’s a squished anpan (red bean bread) used in yam pastries. XD

Just when the barbarians have decided to burn Honoka at the stake (Bad experiences with Nervalists, perhaps?), it starts to snow..a bunch of Honoka clones pop up, hypnotising the barbarians, who put boxes on. Scarily, Akiha does the same thing! It seems she was influenced because her will wasn’t strong enough. :(

Meanwhile, Benkei and Tsutsuji have landed as well, and Tsutsuji is having fun being the satisfying her godmodding urges with the barbarians. -wry-

I wonder who this Fredrich Hugh Tonoblemite is..
