Maria Holic 11 - Tchaikovsky Syndrome Idiomised
Oh my gah. For once I hate using notepad to write my entries. -_- Disconnected my laptop so I could see if it’d connect to the other one…turns out nope. And I cleared the post I’d had all written out. T_T I would use Word…but it sucks and is big. Anyway. Hindsight is 20/20. -_- Screenshots, read on, as usual. I got lazy with screenshots this time since it was 2am when I was watching and I really wanted to sleep. -wry- So no captions either. Do people actually read my captions?? XD
Repeated post, here we go. Maria Holic 11 was rather annoying — it focused on a young male teacher (who’s also a priest) in the school, Kanae. He’s practically as bad as Kanako when it comes to a LOT of internal thinking. This wasn’t really bad by itself — until you realise he uses idioms. And it’s not too bad since I actually understand some of the idioms without a need for extra translation…but apparently the anime producers didn’t think so, because they added translations in at the side! And because I’m a serial sub reader, I had to pause to read the subs. T_T
Ah well. Right. In any case, Kanae says he’s worried about Kanako, who was the only student in the class who’d failed the midterms. Personally, I think it’s just another manifestation of his Mariya (who, after all, is Kanako’s roommate)Holic. And Matsurika Holic. Yes, he’s a Great Sinner who Likes Women and Trap! (And also Ayari, at the end. ._. More Kanakoness..)
In any case, he wrangles a dorm visit after bribing GOD with a plasma TV and DVD player. Smart of her! XD

@Jay-san: Lol forgot I was kinda incoherent. XD I yanked my laptop’s computer supply out, and’d forgotten to save…and Notepad doesn’t have autosave. -wry- Might look into an alternative that’s smaller than Winword but has autosave..
Hindsight is 20/20. It seemed a good idea at the moment.
