Koukaku no Regios 10 - Not Really Yaoi Akshun

Picking up where we left off the last ep, platoons 17 and 5 are still looking around the ‘abandoned’ city. Felli has sensed life around some sectors, but the signs are unclear. Visit the gallery for screenshots — or read on for a slideshow.

There’s an obvious riff between Layfon and Nina..

Felli makes Layfon carry her around looking for the life signs, and he tells her a little more about his life. It seems he was exiled because the Empress said that Nen I practitioners, like soldiers, shouldn’t bring terror to the people.

The signs bring Layfon to this strange golden ram creature that says strange things. (The spirit of the city, just like our resident loli fairy?) In any case, they have to escape the underground to the surface, where it’s safe — thankfully, everyone gets saved at the end.

I do agree, Nina is somewhat annoying…I’m starting to sympathise with Layfon more. He does have a scary side, but if it’s really justified..besides, that Gerhardt (Gerhart? Anything..) guy was a jerk anyway. -_-

    I thought Layfon was actually more annoying this episode; he’s getting a tad bit arrogant for my taste. Normally flaws like that don’t bother me, but being the main character and all, I fear Layfon’s flaws would only be glorified. And that’s definitely boring.

    Don’t get where all the Nina is annoying comes from though, it makes sense she wouldn’t agree with Layfon’s ideal. If everyone were like Layfon then the whole world would be in anarchy.

    @tiara: Hmm. I don’t know…I guess the only issue I have with Layfon is he can seem rather two-faced. :S I don’t know who he really is, which is never a good thing since I’m horrible at telling how people actually are. ._. Be it 2D or 3D.

    I didn’t actually mind Nina…until she said she hated Layfon. -_- I do understand where she’s coming from, but she really is a bit too much of an idealist.

    @Silver: Hrm, that’s true, it WAS rather tsuntsun. Meh, I don’t think I’d like her even if she went deredere. XD
