[*Whatever By The Books*]

Like we’d seen at the end of the previous ep, the students of Ame no Kisaki are now wearing summer uniforms, which pretty much translates to short sleeves. The ending illustration this time is by Kouga Yun, whose Loveless I’m somewhat familiar with. No wonder I thought the style looked kinda familiar. :)Ahh, Maria Holic never fails to make me chuckle. (I should be tired of saying this every episode. XD) With the changing of the uniforms, it’s time to get the previous term’s results as well..

Sadly, Kanako failed most of her subjects — but managed to score 82 for Biology and 98 marks on Ethics, the latter of which boggled Mariya. XD And the two marks she’d been deducted was for writing the wrong kanji…binyo (美乳: beautiful boobs) instead of bimyo (微妙: delicate). XD Ah, what a Kanako mistake. On the other hand, surprisingly enough, Kiri failed Science — this was accompanied with a funny scene about how meganekko being great at studying is a fantasy. XD (“Gensou yo!”) Both of them have to attend a remedial examination, as a result.

Also worthy of note is how Kanako freaked out when she realised Matsurika is in first year and top of the year along with Mariya.

On the night before the reexam, Matsurika puts on a character-altering subliminal learning CD for Kanako, which results in her morphing into megane iinchou mode, ending up boycotting the exam because her alterego says she doesn’t believe in sorting people into levels of ability.

In part two of the ep, Kiri gets a love letter! Sachi and co try to come up with ways to dissuade the guy, who they coin Berlin because he referenced revolutions. (–>Berlin wall..)
