Maria Holic 8 - Mother Mary Festival = Cosplay Party!

Maria Holic 8 is amusing as always. I really like the art by BLADE at the ep’s ending picture. :) (Which is why it’s the feature pic for this post..) Have a look at screenshots in full post, or visit the gallery.

GOD: One of the seven mysteries of the school — you’ll get happiness if you touch the student playing the angels during the Mother Mary Festival..

And my gosh at Kanako’s Cosplay Party song…-shakes head- She’s really incorrigible, but adorably so. (Though I know some people have thought she’s annoying. -wry-) Even after getting whacked on the head by Matsurika’s basketball, the first thing she notices when Ayari runs over is, ‘Nice angel! -thumbs up-’…ah, Kanako.
Ayari: Ah, you aren’t a Christian, are you, Miyamae-san?
Kanako: NOPE, I’m not religious! (Oh shucks, that slipped out in the midst of all these Christians!) I mean, no, that was wrong, I’m totally Christ-love-loving! [”Cho Kurisuto love love desu!”]

In terms of plot, not much aside from Kanako fantasising over how the festival could be like. I’d like to see if she somehow gets it completely wrong, though…girls dressing up as angels…she can’t be that far off. XD

    That song was hilarious!

    And wtf? about 15:50 mins into it, when kanako is in the sick bay, why the hell are there 2 bullets behind the student council vice president.

    @Loz: Completely agree at the song. XD It was stuck in my head for a few days after I watched the episode! Niisama thought I was mad because he didn’t get it at all. -laughs-

    And yeah at the bullets… o.O

    Hmmm….. I doubt those are bullets.
    Given its a Sick bay, I’d say they are Suppositories.

    @Smurfy: Lol! That’s true…I thought suppositories were generally longer, though. Why would the people leave suppositories lying around? What’s with the tweezers? XD
