Kurokami 2 - Mototsumita Contract Gattai~!
Sigh, I wrote a post but left my computer on and fell asleep…and it shut itself down. -_- Of all the nights it should happen.
Will have to try to regurgitate it…lessee. Finally, an OP (Kuribayashi Minami’s Sympathizer) that’s unabashedly for an action anime. The ED (Yousei Teikoku’s Irodori no Nai Sekai) was pleasant as well, but not all that memorable.
The action was cool, don’t get me wrong. But I seem to have a tendency to fall asleep during action (everyone else says JCVD was a good movie…I was asleep halfway through :S) — it probably didn’t help that it was 4am. XD Nonetheless! Will follow to see what, exactly, will happen. Read on for ep summaly, or just visit the screenshot gallaly.
I swear, the most enjoyable thing about the first two eps was watching Kuro eat. XD Otherwise, this ep summarised….bad Mototsumita eater guy –> Ryuuta is emo over the whole doppelliner thing –> bad Mototsumita eater guy challenges Kuro –> Kuro gets whacked –> Keita tries to step in and predictably gets whacked too –> Kuro revives! –> Keita is healed –> Kuro + Keita = nice combo!
It was obvious in the first ep that someone was “killing off” non-root doppelliners to create a small army of ‘fated’ people. Mysterious girl in the preview (a mototsumita? Since they’re ‘Defenders of Equilibrium’) shows that someone, at least, seems to be worried about this. But why do that in the first place, I wonder? Are they stronger? Do they have magical powahz?
In any case, I wonder…am I the only one who thinks the doppelliner thing is such a waste? I mean, having three to eventually kill off two…bleh.
I don’t think that the doppelganger story is a waste, I just find it a little bit of a stretch that all three copies all happen to be in Japan… really? they can’t be spread out a little?
I don’t think the doppelliner story is a waste, I think the CONCEPT is a waste because you’re essentially spending thrice the amount of resources…and if two of them meet you pretty much waste 2x. Then again it could be some weird version of a contingency plan.
I believe that’s mentioned in the preview — the girl did say that there’s a higher incidence of energy focused in Japan, so my guess is that the bad guy is searching specifically for doppelliners whose meeting he can manipulate.
