This episode starts off somewhat perplexingly with a ‘game’ of grab the flag, which a few people in uniforms are participating in. Nina’s team loses, and she demonstrates a competitive and self-sacrificial spirit.

Following the OP (Daisy x Daisy’s Brave Your Truth), who has nice beats but truly wince-worthy Engrish, Layfon visits the group 17 members, and tries to unjoin the group by citing work as an excuse. Nina, of course, doesn’t take no for an answer, and decides to test him on the spot.  Layfon holds his ground for a while, but when Nina uses metaphysical attacks, he gets knocked down…and is hospitalised. XD However, he isn’t hurt — Fellis picks up on him hiding the depths of his powers, and has a chat with him regarding how he was picked/forced by her brother to join the martial section and organisation 17. She, herself, was forcefully transferred to the martial section as well.Nina gets to chat with Layfon when he shows up at her workplace and there’s an ‘ahh, senpai is working at the place I have a new job with!’ moment. We find out Nina pretty much left home to attend the academy, and that Layfon is an orphan; thus, both of them need money.

Mock battle with bunch of jocks time. Group 17 really is kinda random…Fellis helps (kinda) — the engineer guy doesn’t seem to do anything — sniper guy can only help so much. Layfon doesn’t really want to fight, so most of it was up to poor Nina…until Layfon chips in.

Subsequently, he gets two females angry at him. XD Nina for hiding his secret from her, Fellis for revealing his powers when Fellis said he should hide it. Can’t make the whole world happy, eh?
