How to Play: Join up the names! Taking the last syllable/sound of the previous name, suggest another name (of an anime/manga character or seiyuu) with that sound in any part of the name EXCEPT the last syllable. Please post the new name (and the anime/manga it's from) in my shoutbox. (Just above this.) No consecutive entries, please -- you cannot play this one alone. XD
When I get tired of reviewing, I'll pick one character from this list to feature in a post, regardless of whether I previously know him/her or not! :) That page will eventually be linked on this list.
E.g....Hirano Aya (Seiyuu)--> (next one should have 'ya' in the name, NOT in the end) Okuyama Masumi (Nodame Cantabile) --> Misato Kaoru (Moyashimon).......

Shikabane Hime: Kuro 2 - Keisei Obsession

Published by jennkei at 8:41 pm under 2009 Winter, Shikabane Hime, anime Edit This

Even though ShikaKuro’s OP is kinda retro-sounding, I still found myself nodding to the beat. XD Gallery of screenshots here, or read on for ep summary+slideshow.

Ep 2 continues where ep 1 leaves off; with Hoshimura shrugging off her chains and beating the bad ugly things up. Makina confronts our poor guy, saying, “My contract monk is only Keisei.” However, they get caugh by the monks of the place, who decide to punish them…Unlike for Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou, I don’t really know what’s going on. I’m not really sure what’s going on. However, the magic and stuff is pretty darned cool, and the art is pretty nice too.

Even I knew, though, that there was a pretty big oh shit moment in this episode…when the scary bug guy stabs poor guy after asking whether the latter would like to become a shikabane, since he loves Makina..however, even as she watches him fall to the ground, her words are, “I’m sorry I couldn’t protect Keisei..” followed by a whole reel of her memories about him. I was annoyed, frankly. -_- But it does give her the strength to break through the bug’s grip. I’m still rooting for the underdog..

    Wow, sounds dramatastic.

Negima! is definitely not yaoi. LOL! I just wish that Negi and Kotaro would end up together because they are actually the same age, and all these girls obsessing over him are getting a bit annoying. :-)

Thanks SO much for that book website! It’s awesome, and the prices ARE better than amazon’s! I’m definitely using this site from now on. :-D
