Earl and Fairy 10 - In the Painting..
This episode saved itself from being utterly painful by having at least some plot-moving. I’m rather grateful this series is ending soon; while the art has been alright, the plot has consistently been rather dodgy. Maybe we can praise it for being consistent?!

In this ep, Ermine finally shows herself to Edgar and Raven. Surprisingly, neither of them seem surprised! Geez! At least pretend for the viewers! XD Also, did anyone notice that Raven and Ermine don’t look alike? ._. Are they really siblings…?
In other news, Kelpie surprises me by turning into a horse in a dream and getting ridden by Lydia. -coughs- He tries to lure her to the fairy world, but Coblynau comes in time to save da day. It seems the ring has a name (Bow? Somewhat…curt name.) and is semi-sentient and able to call on the gnome-like dude to help… Coblynau plays a key role, as well, by identifying the amber that seals the banshee’s memories.
The most funny thing about this ep was the first five minutes; pretty painful watching them talk about sex with lines like ‘We were joined last night, weren’t we?’, ‘I was inconsiderate since it was your first time.’, and the best one, “It may be social norm to do it only after you’re married, but it’s not rare for couples to get the order mixed up.” — I don’t know why, the lines themselves aren’t all that horrible (in a romance novel), but the way they were done just made me cringe. The end of the ep is a bit different than usual…the preview is pretty long, and is more like the first part of the next ep. Shows the starting bits of Edgar confronting Ulysses.
