[*Whatever By The Books*]

First up, Happy New Year! ^^

The first part of this episode certainly made me sit up and take notice! But after the OP it delves once again into Lydia x Edgar drivel. It seems they’re pretending to be engaged so Lydia can avoid Kelpie’s attentions…what an interminable episode this was. Lydia sits around in the garden peering at her ring, and finds a coblynau (from Wiki: gnome-like creature said to haunt the mines and quarries of Wales”), who bursts out of the ground and croons over the moonstone he is the caretaker of. Edgar still reminds me disturbingly of Tamaki. -wry- “Your scent is much tastier than any cookie.” It doesn’t help that he kinda looks like Tamaki, too..ah well. Nothing much happens at a party, except Lydia gets to wear a pretty gown, and we see Raven in a pretty gown. (Quite hot, he looks.)

Ten minutes of drivel later, we finally get more of the loli…but it seems all she does is cry! Amber tears, though! It turns out she’s a banshee…from a hundred years ago? Meanwhile, Paul’s place gets ransacked, and his father’s notes get stolen. Switching to another storyline, Edgar talks to Lydia about marriage; and when she protests, he does the decent thing and removes her ring for her.

Alright, I’m kinda happy there’s some evidence of a plot now, but…I don’t know. I only watched this because my net quota is gone and I have it handy on my drive. XD Might as well review to the end…
