Filler post..on D&D?
Alright, self-admitted filler post (maybe not if you’re into D&D…) while I find an alternative host for my screenshots. It seems today.com didn’t like the previous one. -sighs- Anyone have any suggestions? I’m a bit picky, they should have the following..
1. Thumbnail/link code generator, which allows me to put a gallery-style set of pictures up.
2. Very small/fastloading uploader on my computer that allows me to make new albums with a click, and upload via ftp or whatever arcane method they use.
3. Clean interface (allows me to go back and forth with pictures within the same gallery.)
4. Gallery mode (shows thumbnails of pictures)/number of views
Photobucket doesn’t fit (unless it has an uploader I can’t find), neither does imageshack, though I -could- fall back on the other. I’m gonna check out Flickr tomorrow.
I did read something interesting on D&D today, though. Personally, never really got into it because, well, not enough people around me were into it. I -did- play something I suppose you could call computerised D&D; I mudded. But that’s probably about it. XD
So! If you’re reading this, I’m curious about how many who’re into anime are into D&D too. It’s not quite the link people would make, but I like fantasy as well, and really would like to try D&D with a real dungeonmaster; niisama likes D&D too, after all. How many others are out there? ;) Also, it was funny for me to read this article about the top 5 misconceptions about D&D . It’s an older article, but still a good one (I liked “2.It teaches you how to perform real life magic”); and as always, I enjoyed reading the comments, especially luckytoplay’s. As for me, I will always thank playing at an intensive-rp mud for giving me my present English skills.
How ’bout you? Are you/were you into D&D, and what was your fondest memory of it/biggest misconception people had about you playing?

Hey Ria, thanks for visiting. :) D&D = dungeons and dragons, a kinda tabletop rpg style. There’s more information in the site I linked, but in a nutshell…
“The premise behind D&D is that one person, referred to as the DM or Dungeon Master, narrates a story featuring the hero characters, and the other players decide what actions those hero characters take.”
I actually enjoy table top gaming though I rarely partake in it anymore. I just recently joined a tabletop RPG that is based on Firefly/Serenity. D&D kind of turned me off because I could just never wrap my head around all the rules. I enjoy much simpler systems that run on D6 or D10.
I loved the 3.5ed rules - the 4ed rules are just whacky -wry- So much stats that i can’t get my head around it :P
Ah well - i wised i could get a d100 XD That would be kinda cool XD
Rule 2 - It teaches you how to perform real life magic; It’s true! You can perform random calculations in your head faster than normal and use your imagination to create a story all in your mind! Isn’t that awesome!?
