It’s still very conventional…except for strange bits like ‘my brain was taken’??! Edgar doesn’t really make sense sometimes, what with his talk about true and fake lies. I couldn’t really find many screenshots to take. -wry-

There’s talk of someone called Ermine; a previous lover or beloved nanny, perhaps? (Damn, it was neither. XD) Skipping the dreary journey on the ship (upon which Lydia gets seasick, by the way), our small company arrives at the isle of merrow, where everyone is at least part merrow. More to read more.


Lydia develops an irrational fear at one point of the ep for Raven, whom she worries would kill her. Also, I just realised the ears of characters in Earl & Fairy are kinda strange…they’re all boxy and kinda big at certain angles, especially front-on. There’s some interesting fantasy trivia in this ep, like E&F’s version of what a spunkie is, though why on earth brownies would follow a trail of lemon water, I cannot imagine.

I guess my main gripe about E&F is probably the surprising things that happen seemingly out of the blue, that don’t quite mesh. (Like wth, proposal?! Also wth, sudden quaking in shoes over Raven? Sure, the guy’s capabilities are shocking and all, but he gives off such a servantly air. >.> Should be far too easy to underestimate/overlook him.)
