Clannad After Story Episode 3 - ‘Niichan~
Haha, it’s been a while since I’ve watched Clannad, but from what I’ve heard, it’s seemed like a pretty calm ride so far. In episode three, Sunohara attempts to placate his sister’s (the adorable and somewhat-precocious Mei-chan) concerns for him by getting Nagisa’s mom, Sanae, to pose as his girlfriend. Hilarity ensues, (when doesn’t it, when Sunohara is involved?) but it’s tempered by some seriousness as we realise how callous Sunohara is.
This is probably a somewhat older episode — I haven’t been keeping up to date with anime since exams two weeks ago. T_T But I laughed when I saw some of the episode summaries for this, since guys were going, ‘ZOMG Sanae-san, moemoemoe~~~~’ Though I have this feeling they’re talking about some other episode, cos all she dresses up in in this one is a school uniform…still. Cute. Though Mei was cuter. I really chuckled at the ‘niichan~~’ bit! But the ep itself was more touching/sad than I’d expected.
All I’m wondering is — what’s with toilet cover, and what on earth IS that swordfish arcade game?!?! Speaking of arcade games, what’re your favourites? :)

Well, Clannad: After Story premiered in early October of this year. A quick check on my end found that they have aired seven or eight episodes already. The good news is that ADV licensed this series and should be releasing here in early ‘09.

Thanks for your comment. :) I think it’ll take a lot longer to reach Australian shores. -wry- I didn’t know it was already licensed, though, so that’s interesting news. (People are working so fast to do that nowadays!)
And yup, it’s up to 7 or 8. I’m gonna do one or two episodes a day until I get up to date on it, I reckon.

So far they aren’t doing well on Etsy, but -shrug- We’ll see where it goes :P
